Mothers Day!

I went Kayaking this afternoon on the Hudson, it was awesome. Here are some cool pics:

And here is the amazing bird house Kraig made Mom for Mothers Day. He used the extra paint from our house and the shingles are spray painted pieces of sand paper he stapled to the roof. Tonight I painted the windows and bushes on. We can't wait to get it up in the yard!

Got to hang out on a Soviet T-62 tank today. Back in the day, we were concerned about a massive force-on-force battle against these bad boys in Germany's Fulda Gap. Today...well...not so much. Dorky Physics professors get to climb on them...

The new Academy under construction

Mostly new academy pics with some more general pics from the surrounding area. It's going to be an incredible campus when it's done. Nothing like it ANYWHERE else in Afghanistan.
